WHAT NAVIGATOR CAPTAIN JAMES COOK MIGHT HAVE SAID 240 YEARS AGO

Posted 12 February 2017

What famed Pacific navigator, Captain James Cook, might have said after comparing the readings of his scientists in 1977, with what New Zealand Government scientists are saying about "global warming" in 2016: "It's not thirty years, lads; your temperature recordings match mine from nearly two-n-'alf centuries back; the temperature of the Tasman Sea was 15.5C in 1777, right same as now. I don't know what thee are panickin' and scare-mongering for, clearly ye's don't 'ave enough to do. Come with me, I'll send thee to a hill for climbing, maybe that will ease ye's silly panic over the non-existent."

REMEMBERING WHEN OUR CLIMATE WORRIES WERE THE COMING NEXT ICE AGE?

Posted 7 February 2017

"Remember that 'other' climate change catastrophe....the one where we were warned (even before SUVs) about how we were prematurely bringing on the next Ice Age? Yeah, even back in the chilly 1900s that was our fault also. Scientists worried that deforestation was increasing Earth's reflectivity causing too much sunlight to reflect back into space rather than warm the surface as it was 'supposed to'". WAS 2016 THE WARMEST YEAR YET? OR WAS IT ANOTHER HALF-TRUTH?

Posted 5 February 2017

"Things you know that ain't so - 2016 was the warmest  recorded year; global warming is real and dangerous. Or so they tell you. But when you examine the facts, you come to the opposite conclusion. It is a classic example of using half-truths to mislead. They don't tell you how much warmer it actually was. If they did, the myth would be exposed." Our Coalition energy spokesman, Bryan Leyland's post to the New Zealand site Breaking Views was also reprinted by U.S, blog Climate Depot.

MONCKTON DEMOLISHES 'PETTY PREJUDICE' CLIMATE ALARMISM BY U.S. PAEDIATRICIAN

Posted 23 January 2017

Viscount Christopher Monckton of Brenchley has replied to an American paediatrician, Paul Offit, demolishing unproven claims about man-made "global warming."  Monckton concludes: "It is the other way about. Facts, Offit, facts. So much more interesting than petty prejudices of Party Lines.  The big bucks are in climate extremism, not in skepticism. Offit is simply wrong when he says scientists are only 'rewarded with publications and grants when they find something new.' In 'climate science', according to research by the redoubtable Jo Nova, about 5000 times as much is spent on scientists interminably promoting and rebarbatively regurgitating climate extremism than on research by skeptical scientists."
